motorized awning

. Their electric motors are fully contained within the roller tube of your awning, for a clean concealed installation. A regular motor allows the awning to move in and out for proper sun protection. An override motor will provide you with movement of the motorized awning even if a power loss occurs. The wall switch must then be placed in the neutral/middle position and the crank can be used to move the awning in and out.

Somfy's advanced and patented radio technology (RTS) empowers you to simply operate your motorized awning by pressing a button on a remote control transmitter or wireless wall switch. By definition, RTS means no wiring between the awning and the control, so installation is quick and easy.

Somfy's Telis RTS Patio Transmitter is a shock resistant and weatherproof outdoor remote control that has been designed to be protected from damage if it is dropped on a hard surface. Designed to work with Somfy's RTS motor range, the Telis Patio Transmitter is also compatible with Somfy's Eolis and Soliris automatic sun and wind controls for your motorized awning.

The NEW Eolis WireFree RTS Wind Sensor is a wirefree battery powered wind sensor that provides automatic wind protection for retractable awnings. Designed with Radio Technology Somfy (RTS), upon detection of excessive vibration, the sensor emits a signal to retract the motorized awning automatically.

The NEW Sunis WireFree RTS sensor is a wireless sun sensor that is powered with an integrated solar cell and uses RTS to automatically extend a motorized awning based on the sun's intensity. With its compact design and the absence of wiring, you will benefit from quick installations and easy programming. The Sunis WireFree can be used with the NEW Eolis WireFree RTS or the existing Eolis and Soliris sensors to maximize protection against sun and wind.

The Decorator Somfy-Matic combines design and automatic sun and wind protection for your retractable motorized awning. A unique memory retention feature enables the unit to revert back to the previous automatic or manual sun/wind settings in the event of a power failure.

Somfy offers end product suppliers a 5 year warranty on all motors and controls. Specifically, Somfy warrants its motors to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and proper use for a period of 5 years commencing with the date stamped on each product. If the Somfy product fails within this 5 year period, Somfy will repair or replace it free of charge through your end product supplier. Labor to change the item is the responsibility of the product owner.
